Exploration Results – Agadir Melloul Permit (Copper, Gold, Hematite)
Introduction
As part of its targeted multi-resource exploration strategy, Coppernicus Mining Company has conducted several investigative campaigns on the Agadir Melloul permit, located in a geologically promising region. These efforts have revealed three distinct types of mineralized structures of interest: copper associated with carbonate bars, gold-bearing quartz veins, and hematite (oligist) structures.
The carbonate bars within the permit area serve as structural conduits for copper-rich mineralizing fluids. Trenches and drillings have allowed the company to:
- Identify multiple copper-enriched zones, particularly along fractures and stratification planes;
- Confirm copper presence via geochemical analyses, even in areas with no visible surface mineral expression.
These results point to a potential subsurface deposit with strong economic viability.
Key highlights:
- Mineralization clearly correlated with carbonate structures;
- Positive findings in areas with no previous mining activity;
- Spatial distribution modeled (block model – Cu grade estimation).
Hydrothermal gold-bearing quartz veins have been identified, with widths reaching up to 2 meters. Although gold is not visible at the surface:
- It has been detected through chemical assays;
- Results suggest a fine-grained or microscopic dissemination of gold;
- These veins represent a strategic target for deeper exploration (trenching and drilling recommended).

- Gold presence confirmed despite lack of surface indicators;
- High-potential target for deep investigation.
- Oligist (hematite) veins identified within the permit show significant short-term mining potential due to:
- Variable widths reaching up to 1.5 meters;
- Ease of processing and commercial recovery;
- Potentially high iron content, influenced by heterogeneous geological conditions.
- Vein-type structures ready for short-term exploitation;
- Opportunity for immediate production;
- Clearly differentiated mineralization suitable for selective extraction.

Conclusion
The Agadir Melloul permit demonstrates notable polymetallic potential. The combination of deep-seated copper structures, non-visible auriferous veins, and hematite lodes exploitable in the short term forms a solid basis for integrated and phased development.
Each type of mineralization requires a dedicated technical approach, but their coexistence within the same area presents a unique opportunity for optimized and diversified permit valorization. This project aligns with Coppernicus Mining Company’s high-value-added mineral diversification strategy.
